PASSION FOR QUALITY
SINCE 1920.
A FAMILY HISTORY

Founded in 1920, the Francesco Bellei Winery is a family project, carried forward by the Cavicchioli family who have inherited its legacy and continue its mission. Each bottle produced is the result of shared work, rooted in tradition and projected into the future. Our winery is not just a place of production, but a space where we continue to write a story that comes from the heart of the family and from a common vision: to produce wines of the highest quality.

the classic method It is the language
with which we create each bottle

Tradition is the foundation of our winery, but it is innovation that allows us to look to the future. Our production has always been distinguished by the use of the Classic Method, a process that we pass on with care, but that we never stop refining. Innovating, without ever losing sight of what makes us unique, is our true strength.

The spergola

Spergola, a historic Emilian grape variety, is enhanced with a contemporary interpretation, exalted by the pure Classic Method.

Applied to the Modena varieties, the Classic Method has transformed viticulture in the area, demonstrating that excellent bubbles can also be created in the land of Lambrusco.

A vision, that of Bellei, shared by the Cavicchioli family, who already in 1987 completed the union between local grapes and the Classic Method.

ANCESTRAL: THE RETURN TO THE ORIGINS OF REFERMENTATION

The Ancestral Method represents the most authentic tradition of refermentation in the bottle, deeply rooted in the lands of Modena. This ancient technique, revisited by Bellei and Cavicchioli, enhances the naturalness of the wines, offering a genuine expression of the territory. No disgorgement, only the charm of a process that reflects time and the rhythms of nature.
